Spider Snags a Ladybug

This is the same American House Spider that I posted about before.  This time though, it has caught a nice, tasty bug to eat.  Yes, it is a ladybug (or ladybird beetle).  Once the ladybug was caught in the web, the spider injected it with venom from its fangs.  It then has plenty of time to suck out the bug’s juices.  Does thinking about that make YOU hungry?

The brown sac at the top right of the picture above is holding the spider’s eggs.
