What is different about my Walnut Tree this week?
Not this crow. Crows are frequent visitors to my yard.
Definitely not this robin.
Robins spend a lot of time in the Walnut Tree.
The difference is in the tree itself. It’s starting to leaf out!

As we have seen before, birds defend their nests and territory. Here, an osprey is chasing a bald eagle away above our house. The osprey has a nest on top of a cell phone tower close by and is willing to take on a much larger bird to defend it.
