Slugyard was started because of my love for the outdoors. I am an amateur nature photographer who is fascinated by the world around me. I hope that you enjoy my photos and the research I’ve done to explain what the photos show. My hope is that it will encourage you and your family to pay more attention to the world just outside your door.
Most of these photos were taken from around my yard. I live in the Pacific Northwest, so if you live someplace else the wildlife in your yard might look a little different!
