This bug was hanging on just outside of my front door. In this case, it really IS a bug. Confused? Even though people usually call any insect a bug, there is a certain group of insects that are actually known as “true bugs”. Stink bugs, squash bugs, and leaf-footed bugs are just a few of the types of true bugs. Unfortunately, I can’t tell which specific type this one is- they all look a lot alike!
A short distance away lurked this Cross Spider. There aren’t many of these spiders around anymore, unlike a couple of months ago. But, I guess there are still a few true bugs around to feed upon.

Pretty cool! What is it that makes an insect a “true bug”?
Nice buggy shots
I have still seeing an occasional stink bug. They do look creepy. Great photos.
